The ice breaking design project introduces basic understanding of the design processes and approaches in generating ideas, formulating conceptual narrative, developing design and translating it into form design.
The purpose is to unravel our creative side and inner self through communication of art form. We generate ideas from self identity through personal interests, preferences, attitude and personality. Representation of self are interpreted in abstract form.
Guidelines:
1. Translation must be in abstracted form.
2. Size of artwork should not exceed the dimension of an A3 card. It can be several layer thick but the overall depth should not exceed 15cm. The assembly should be self-supporting.
3. Materials should be of modelling materials only.
4. Limited to one colour only.

Narrative:
I am an active thinker who likes to think deeply. I have creative imagination and complicated thoughts that tends to link any possibilities to come out with my unique idea about something. Curiousity also makes me observant and sensitive to surrounding.
Concept:
1. Radial expansion - expansion of form outwards from center to various directions to symbolise explosion of many ideas and thoughts from my brain generating different possibilities of curiousity and triggering my sensitivity sense.
2. Repetitive space and volume - Intersecting of layering and Interlocking of triangular folded units to symbolise the linking and interconnecting of ideas result i complicated and sharp thinking processes.
